Water is a central theme in my work. With this piece, , I wanted to capture the radiance of the sea and the way sunlight shimmers across the water, creating those subtle, mesmerising shapes and colours that stay with you long after summer has passed. These colours are so unique and radiant that they are hard to capture, which is exactly what drew me to try.
It's a nod to warm summer days by the coast with family, when there was nothing to worry about except what shell or fish you might find. A small celebration of that quiet joy of discovery, and memories that linger like sunlight on water.
